Starting gymnastics at the age of 4, I learned early on the importance of keeping your body healthy, strong and flexible. However, it wasn’t until my senior year in high school, after developing low back pain, that I found out how beneficial chiropractic was in maintaining that state of health.
Experiencing the benefits of chiropractic at the same time I was considering traditional career options related to health care, sparked my interest in being able to help others naturally through a career in chiropractic.
After completing undergraduate coursework at the University of Minnesota and graduating Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1988, I have spent the last 27 years in private practice. During that time, in addition to obtaining Graston Techinque certification and post-graduate Kinesiotaping training, I have developed a keen interest in diet and nutrition in the prevention and treatment of disease. I enjoy attending seminars and webinars to stay abreast of the latest nutritional research and treatment.
As an empty nester with 3 grown children I no longer do gymnastics, but my husband and I continue to stay active enjoying the outdoors hiking, biking and waterskiing.
I am available to see patients Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2-6 pm and Tuesday/Thursday 9 am -1 pm. I look forward to the opportunity to serve your health care needs.
