Low Back Pain

At some point in our lives, 80 percent of us can expect to have back pain.

There are many causes of pain ranging from trauma caused by car accidents, sports injuries or falls, to poor posture, prolonged sitting and weight gain.

Finding the cause and relieving you back pain is our first goal. After a thorough exam, this is usually accomplished with spinal adjustments to normalize motion and function of the vertebrae, tailbone and pelvis. In addition, physiotherapy such as ice/heat, ultrasound or muscle stimulation to reduce muscle spasm may be indicated. The second goal is to prevent recurrence of your pain through core strengthening and stabilization exercises
